MEN'S GOLF FINISHES 13TH IN SEASON OPENER

in the first round, on the strength of eight birdies.  Williams tallied an 83-82 in the last two rounds for a 239 and finished 79th. Ball State's 306-287-306=899 placed the Cardinals ahead of Missouri (900), Kentucky (911), Toledo (919) and IUPUI (1004).  Ball State finished only four strokes
